Lucia Gutierrez Coppe de Schravesande was born in Mexico City and began riding horses at age nine.
Learned to ride Mexican charro style at the same time that English style, receiving riding lessons and taking many equitation clinics with several trainers since a very young age.
In 1988 she began working as instructor and horse trainer in Club La Sierra, located in the outskirts of Mexico City.
In 1989 participated in clinics with Berthalan de Nemethy.
In July 1991 she obtained a certificate as official stadium jumping judge from the Mexican Equitation Federation (FEM).
In July 1999 she participated in clinics with Cuban instructor Raul de Leon and same year she obtained the official instructor certificate from Mexican Equitation Federation .
During December 2000 she participated in clinics with Argentinean Jose Ortelli, official member of the three-day event board and obtained a course designer certificate from the International Equitation Federation (FEI).
Since 1988 and up to 1994, while working in Club La Sierra, she trained young horses for dressage and jumping and participated in official competitions with some of them. She also trained riders for show jumping and two day events and accompanied them to official competitions in the Mexican official circuits.
During her life as horse rider she has organized, designed and judged several combined training competitions as well as stadium jumping competitions the same in Valle de Bravo than in Mexico City.
Since 1988 and up to 2002 she organized summer school horse clinics first in Mexico City and afterwards in both, Mexico City and Valle de Bravo.
During years 2002 and 2003 she prepared a group of young riders in Valle de Bravo in combination with a local school as part of an educational program.
Since 2003 she has participated in several clinics about "Natural Riding" with Alfonso Aguilar, a Mexican veterinarian and rider who worked with Pat Parelli for several years.
Actually she trains and prepares horses for pleasure riding, dressage, and jumping that are used by the guests that visit Finca Enyhe.
Her interest for the Mexican cuisine started at a very early age. Her first cooking teacher was her mother. She also learned many Mexican recipes from the lady that helped as a cook in her parent´s house .Through the years she continued researching and learning about the different regional dishes of Mexico. Recently she ended up taking a cooking clinic with the very well known English/Mexican Chef Mrs. Diane Kennedy. Understandably, she is in charge of all what is cooked and prepared in the kitchen of the finca.
